Parts Comparison Page

The parts comparison page shows you all the items whose parts have changed in some way since the creation of the currently selected build standard.

Parts Comparison Toolbar

The Parts Comparison Toolbar contains a Filter search bar and the following buttons; Select Project (⌄), Revisions, Explode Tree, Export Excel.

  • The Select Project (⌄) button presents a text field below which enables you to search for a project to change the build standard to.
  • The Revisions button presents drop-down menu enabling you to filter the build standard based on 'All' or 'Mismatching' revisions.
  • The Filter search bar enables the filtering of the build standard to find a specific part or activity contained within it.
  • The Explode Tree button expands all levels of the tree.
  • The Export Excel button exports the parts comparison list to an excel format and then downloads onto the user's computer.

Parts Comparison Tree

The Yellow highlighted rows mean that the Part within the current build standard is NOT the most up to date part. This can be the case for a number of reasons, either a part as had any one of its details edited, Or the part has been added or removed from the activity/work order.

  • The first column may contain an ➤ (Expand) button enabling you to manually expand the Part revealing the parts contained within it. To the right of this column is the part's part ID and Part Description/Name.
  • The Qty Project - (P/L) column displays the previous required quantity of the part followed by the latest quantity of the part e.g. If the part's quantity has changed from 1 to 3 it would be presented as 1-3. If there is no change to the part quantity then this value remains the same on both sides of the -.
  • The Version Project - (P/L) column displays the previous revision of the part followed by the latest revision of the part e.g. If the part's revision has changed from A to B it would be presented as A-B. If there is no change to the part quantity then this value remains the same on both sides of the -.
